Linda's Story
Linda Abramson

My name is Linda Abramson. Recently, I was wrongly convicted of filing false individual and corporate income tax returns. I was sentenced to 3 years in prison and must also pay fines and restitution.

I worked hard my whole life, pretty much through my own entrepreneurship, a life of saving and taking risks, and living what I thought this country was all about – the American Dream! You will learn more about the circumstances surrounding my case as you view the website.

As we all do, I made mistakes. But there is more to the story. Through jealously, envy and greed my husband’s father’s wife, or step mother-in-law went to great lengths to get what she could from me and tried to ruin me.

This website will let you come to know me. You will also find facts and testimonials that will enlighten you and even surprise you about collaboration with the federal government and judicial process that I encountered and could await you as well.

I want to provide you with advice and tips; I want you to learn from my misfortunes and I would like for you to share your stories with me. The goal of this website is to be a collaborative process to create awareness and understanding as well as be a venue for constructive change in America’s legal system.

A favorite quotation of mine comes from Viktor E. Frankl: “Everything can be taken from a man or a woman but one thing: the last of human freedoms to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

I have decided to use this unfortunate experience as a positive learning adventure. I want you to learn from me as I was falsely convicted. If I can help just one of you then this terrible personal situation, that has impacted my family and me, will have been worth it.

Best regards and welcome to Linda’s World.
